Mega Man Action Figures --- Jazwares

I hadn't stepped inside my local toy store for several years, that was until a few months ago. I read that an action figure company, Jazwares, was producing a series of 15th Anniversary action figures starring our favorite blue bomber, Mega Man. When I heard about this, I rushed over to my local toy store and purchased the Mega Man and Proto Man action figures. I wanted to buy Quick Man, but I had a difficult time finding him.

Action figures were always a big part of my childhood, so I couldn't resist buying these Mega Man toys when I had the chance to do so. These toys each stand around 6 inches tall. With each toy comes a second mini figure, such as Fliptop. These Mega Man figures are articulate in many areas, unlike some of the action figures you can buy. To make things better, these toys only cost five or six dollars (US). Considering today's standards, these figures are all reasonably priced.

As with most products, I do have a few complaints about these figures. First of all, there are too many screws in these toys. Maybe the screws add to the "robotic" look, however, they look rather ugly and no attempt was made to hide them. My second complaint is that a really weird selection of figures were released. There were a few Mega Man X toys released, including Mega Man X, Zero, and Vile. For the more retro characters, the following were released: Mega Man, Proto Man, and Quick Man. This combination seemed really strange to me.

Included with some of the figures (as a bonus I guess) is a free Mega Man mini poster. Including a poster with the figures is a nice idea, however it falls flat on its face. These posters are rolled up, folded, and taped to the bottom of the packages. This makes it hard to display these things, unless you can look beyond the endless tears, rips, and tape marks.

These figures are worth the money, in my opinion. I've always been a sucker for videogame toys, and the Mega Man 15th Anniversary collection isn't an exception. I only hope that Jazwares releases a few more figures, we will have to wait and see. Grab these while you can, they probably won't be around for too long.
