Phantasy Star IV

Another interesting 'unofficial' Nintendo game. This time they bring you Phantasy Star IV, the Sega exclusive game. To make things better, this unofficial port has most of the game programmed in to it, they did a great job I think. To the right you can view several screenshots from the Famicom version of Phantasy Star IV.

It's amazing how Nintendo and Famicom can support such graphics. This game seems nicely done, a great game for any Phantasy Star fan's collection. Hey man, I always thought Phantasy Star looked cool, but I didn't have a Genesis until a few years ago, so if I would have known about this back then, I could have imported it. Oh well.

Rob Budrick sent me an email about this game. He told me that the translated name of the game is Alien Soldier, however it is not related to the arcade and Sega Megadrive Alien Soldier games. Weird that they would use this name for the port of another Sega game. Those darn piraters...
