Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

I decided to write up a brief page pertaining to some common questions I always seem to receive in my email. Hopefully this page will clear some things up.

#1. Do you have codes/walkthroughs/anything for *insert game title here*?
My website is sort of like a store. If you don't see it, then I most likely don't have it. I really don't have a big archive of unused stuff on my hard drive waiting to be uploaded---except for new articles which will be posted when they are finished.

#2. Can you send me a rom of *insert game title here*?
Sorry, I cannot. The roms on the emulation page are of Nintendo titles that I have gained permission to post...either unreleased, unlicensed games, or prototype unlicesensed games. It would be illegal to distribute anything else. And no, I do not know where you can find these commercial roms either.

#3. I saw an item on your page that I want to buy. Where can I do so?
Try eBay. Nintendo related forums is also another great place to buy games, there are several listed on the links page. Some of the other goods I do not even own (i.e. Super Mario Bros. wallpaper) --- I cannot sell stuff I do not own :)

#4. Can I use your images on my website?
I usually grant permission for you to do so, if you link back to my site and credit me. However, I still appreciate it if you email me and let me know what you want to use --- just incase I have an objection of sorts.

#5. Where can you get NES games?
Some game stores (Electronics Botique, Funcoland, Game Crazy) still sell Nintendo games. Other good sources for games are friends (unless you are afraid to ask them...), pawn shops, flea markets, and thrift shops. I've found some fairly good deals without resorting to online auctions sites such as eBay.

#6. Can I contribute to your site?
Sure you can. Just send in whatever you want to contribute (make sure that it's NES related and your original work) and I'll be sure to give you credit for whatever I use.

#7. Where can I get the cable to connect my Miracle Piano to the NES?
Honestly, I get asked this a lot. Try eBay. I don't know how to make these cables, and I don't have any extras either.

#8. Anything else?
I always appreciate hearing from you guys. I sometimes get a bit busy, but if you take your time and write out a nice little email, I will respond in some way.
