WRESTLEMANIA CHALLENGE by Ljn

A simple 2 player game. Characters range from the Famous (Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant) the infamous (The Macho Man, that stupid Slim Jim"SNAP IN TO IT!!!!" guy) and the downright unknown (who is Hacksaw Jim Duggan?)
The controls are about as easy as 2 buttons can be (which is pretty easy). They basically consist of a few standing moves, a rope move, a super move and a move to hit your opponent while down.
The graphics aren't that bad. The charcters move around nicely and are in the clothes they wrestle in. The sound is the theme songs of all the wrestlers involved. The game can get downright wacky (see below) There's a singles mode, tag team, and 3 on 3 Survivor Series (whoopie) the Survivor Series is the best.

INTERESTING STUFF TO DO:

A+B at pole:gets on top rope

A while on pole:hits opponent in ring

B:hits wrestlers outside (Note:this is what I was reffering to. You have 10 seconds to get in the ring once outside. You and a friend can both hit their opponents or your opponents, the latter being the most fun.)

Select: other player comes in (only in tag or Series)

Select+B:double team for a somewhat unfair advantage

A+B:Super Move

HINTS:
The Ultimate Warrior and Hulk Hogan are the best

B.Beefcake's sleeper is a dangerous weapon, but overall weak

Rick Rude's speed is his best asset for the Rude awakening

Big Boss Man has a big belly, use it

Jim Duggan's 3 point stance is more lethal to him than that of your opponent

Andre the Giant is very unique, but very strong

Randy savage is good all around

Hulk has great power

Warrior is superior

Yourself (stop laughing, it's true) really, really sucks

Andre can't use the pole to get inside the ring, Warrior's outside throw is B. So throw Andre out of the ring for a very quick victory.

Overall, the game isn't that bad and is a decent 2-player play. 3 1-2 stars.
