The NES-Nut

Wall Street Kid
Okay, here's a game that you will either love or hate. Wall Street Kid is a text adventure of fame or failure. You start off inheriting $500,000 bucks, but there are a few catches. Within certian time frames you must purchase a bunch of expensive items.

Just like the name says you must invest your $500,000 into the stock market and make a bunch of cash. You need the cash to buy a house, a yacht and a castle. If you do not buy these things within a set amount of time, then the game is over. Not only do you need to buy these thing you also have to get marrage (to a high maintance broad:) and exercise to keep fit.

Again let me say if yo do not like text type games then pass on this one. But if you dig games like Railroad Tycoon then this may be the NES game that you have been searching for.

As far as graphics, control and sound this game really doesn't have much, but what is there will work. As you gain different levels in the game it will give yo a password so you can start from that spot. The password is probablly the worst I've ever seen. The stupid code is like 50 characters! Make sure that you have a bunch of paper near you when you write down the codes in this game. Also it is a pretty easy game to beat. I beat in in a week or so, and I only played it off and on. But over all it is a good game for the price. You should be able to get this one at any resale shop for around three bucks.

I haven't been able to find any codes for this one, but you really don't need any to beat the game. Heres a make shift cheat that I designed as I beat this game.

Put in this code, and follow the directions below, there are two types of codes for this. The lower case letters will represent the boxed character (if yo have this game then you will know what I'm talking about):

1660V 0G106 0?%4?
%597M e0u30 80J0C
0C

Now, with this code yo will have the castle and all you have to do is raise the rest of the cash to pay for it, which is about 4 million.

the date should be 7/11.

Sell all of the stocks you have and buy Firedman's Fund, with the cash you have left over buy Rebucks. Stay with these stocks until 7/17. (Remember to exercise each day and every other day or so take the little woman on a picnic or shopping.)

On the 7/17 sell all of you stocks and buy all Xerox, with what ever you have left over buy Rebuck's.

Now on 7/21 sell all of your Xerox and buy all Rebuck's.

I think on the 24th you will need to pay off a bank loan, the date that the bank teller pops on the screen and says she needs the cash, sell all of you stock and pay off the bank. After you pay off the loan get another loan. Go back and buy as much Rattel stock as you can afford. On the 26th sell all of the Rattle stock and buy as much Atnt stock as you can afford.

Buy now you'll have enough cash for the 28th, so wait until then and when you have to pay of the castle loan sell it all and pay the bank off.

That's it, yo should be watching the credit by this point. I figured that it would have a better ending, but hey what do you want for three bucks:)

If you have any problems with this cheat then let me know.

As always NES Flashback is always open to freelance reviews so get them games out and start writing! Just like our new friend Jay Silverman, if you haven't seen any of Jay's great reviews then shame on you.
