Super Dodge Ball is hands down my favorite two player game! Think of the logic of this game: Divide a court in half, pick two teams of six guys each and add a slaughter ball! What could be better? You start the game off by picking a team and the competition begins, the last team standing wins this is in two player mode only. Each player has a special super move that no one else on that team can do. In one player mode you are forced to take the american team. A player is eliminated by getting smacked a number of times by a ball. You can get super combos by knocking an opponent through the screen, stun him, get the ball back and WHAMO! nailing the stunned guy in the back of the head, which usually kills him. Sorry folks its a cruel world and I'm a happy guy :)

I have yet to find a code for this game but there is a practice game included called bean ball. Bean ball basiclly works the same way grab the ball and whale some unsuspecting shmuck in the face with it, but it does have a little twist; you choose one of the american players and you fight the rest of the american team. In bean ball there are no boundries you can run all over the entire screen. I like getting everyone in a crowd and then letting go with a super ball! Sam is a good player for this.

As you noticed I gave this game a 4 1/2 star rating. It would have been a perfect five, but like all games they could of made it better. If you could have two player tournament mode (two player mode is a single game) or a draft of all players to create a super team it would of got a perfect five. I have heard rumors that a Super Dodge Ball 2 was in the works for the SNES but that's all I know. If it is out I may have to get with the times and pick up a 16 bit system:).

You should be able to find this game at any local Funcoland for three bucks or so.
