The thing that sets this game apart is its selection of vehicles. You race: Boats, Jeeps, Sports Cars, Indy Cars, Tanks, ORV's and helicopters! Thats right Helicopters! The one player option is okay, but the real fun begins in two player head-to-head mode. You get to choose your racer off the list of drivers and then you and your partner duke it out over land, sea and air. The object is to finish first or run the other car off the screen. Which is a great way to releive stress, especially if you drive the hiway home and its always backed-up and you just want to ram the S.O.B. in front of you into on comming traffic and and .... Oh sorry. Sometimes I just work myself up :)
But seriously M.M. is a great game with excellent replay value (at least in two player mode.) The sound effects are nothing special but the graphics are excellent for the NES. Bottom line if you can find it, buy it. You wont be sorry.
You should be able to find this game at any local Funcoland for ten bucks or so. I picked mine up from K & F Entertainment for 7 or so bucks! Thanks Kev.
