It's very much different than any other Mario game. The koopa-troopas and goombas and all that stuff is gone, while you can play as 4 different characters. No jumping on the heads, you throw turnips instead.
The graphics are well detailed. The sound is cute. Classic NES sound.
The control could be slighly better. The game itself is great fun, however.
It's realistically the worst Mario game made. But its still very, very good.
