It really has no point.
The game starts off that you have to win a karate tournament. The first 3 are easy until the final guy, for he is quite hard.
Then you go to Okinawa and fight a bunch of dumb, macho guys. As for what happens beyond that, I don't know for I always die. There are also bonus rounds like breaking ice but are next to impossible unless you know what you're doing.
