Andromeda Mission was an unreleased Color Dreams game based on the popular PC game Andromeda Mission. It is unknown how far the game actually came along, or whether it was just a concept. Below is some text taken from an old Color Dreams pamphlet:
"Patrolling Earth outpost 67-A4 in the Andromeda Galaxy seemed easy until all communications with the tiny station were lost. As you enter the atmosphere, wave upon wave of enemy battle craft replace any anxiety you had with stark fear.
You have crossed the vastness of space alone and help is thousands of of light years away. You have only two options: destroy the mechanized monsters and robotic fighter craft or be destroyed yourself!"
Jon Valesh mentioned a plausible reason for the Sega Genesis games not being released.
"I believe the reason they
weren't released was ROM capacity. A fellow from France actually
flew to the US and spent several weeks working with Dan to get
one working, and I can recall playing a level. Those games took
one or two floppies when run on an Amiga (which is what they were
ported from) and two megabits of ROM was expensive. Two megabytes
would've been a killer."
