Crystal Mines was the brainchild of Ken Beckett. The game was a simple, yet addicting (and challenging) puzzle game in which you have to maneuver a robot around pitfalls and enemies, trying to obtain a select amount of crystals in order to move to the next level.

A sequel to Crystal Mines was released on the Atari Lynx. The Crystal Mines game engine has also been reused for many of Wisdom Tree's games, including Joshua, Exodus, and Spiritual Warfare.

Cartridge is available with both blue and black cases.
