Unlike the majority of the Color Dreams games, Metal Fighter was designed by another unlicensed company (Joy Van) and published by Color Dreams in the states. Metal Fighter is a goofy side scroller, it's actually not that bad of a game.

Metal Fighter was released by Sachen on the Famicom and Nintendo. Color Dreams released this cartridge on the Nintendo in the United States. A Dutch version of this game is also said to exist, according to game collector Basil T.

Cartridge is available with a blue case only.
