Captain Comic was another one of Color Dreams' first Nintendo releases. A fun fact that some may not know: The programmers chose to use classical music in Captain Comic so that they would not have to pay royalties to other music companies.

At one point, Ron Risley ported this game from NTSC to PAL. A PAL version was complete, though it was unfortunately never marketed.

Comic is a "port" of the semi-popular PC Captain Comic. If you enjoy Captain Comic (it was one of Color Dreams' most popular games) then you might also want to check out the sequel, Captain Comic 2, for the PC.

There are many different variations of Captain Comic. The game is available in both blue and black cases. However, there is also a blue Captain Comic cartridge with an upside down label. If that isn't too confusing, prototypes of Captain Comic have been found sporting both gray and white cases. Confusing, isn't it?
