Silent Assault was one of Color Dreams quality lacking releases. With eight levels of painful gaming, this title sports multiple weapons and firing positions. The three weapons, the Bazooka Launcher (I’m not making this stuff up!), the Shotgun and the Machine Gun can be fired from three positions. With various, scenery, including a desert full of mummies, you have many enemies to face and obstacles to avoid, such as land mines and possessed soldiers. The following is taken from the back of the box:
"A sinister alien power has taken control of the Earth's military forces. Chosen by fate, you are the only person that the interstellar demon creatures cannot possess. Engage enemy infantry as you gather additional armament. Infiltrate a besieged city to secure the heavily guarded munitions factory and engage bizarre creatures from the scorching desert to the dark and forbidding forest. It's a race against time, and your time is almost up."
Developed by the company Joy Van © in 1990, the company developed the titles Master Chu and the Drunkard Hu and Metal Fighter, also published by Color Dreams for the NES. Silent Assault was their last release.
Cartridge is available with both blue and black cases.
